A sophisticated,
fun and very comfortable 85 seat restaurant and grille offering indoor and
outdoor dining with an exciting menu featuring fresh local
seafood, grilled specialties, award winning burgers, gourmet pizzas, pastas, fine wines, Imported Beer and
Specialty Cocktails which has been open since October of 1994 in Palm Trail Plaza,
located on George Bush Blvd. (NE 8th Street) three blocks west of
the beach in Delray Beach and three blocks east of US 1 (Federal Highway).
Bordered by the town of Gulfstream, the coastal and
Intracoastal neighborhoods of Delray Beach, and located across George Bush
Blvd. from Ocean City Marina and Saint Vincent Catholic Church, Pineapple
Grille has focused on consistently serving thoughtfully prepared, healthy
and delicious
Caribbean and Island inspired cuisine at lunch through late evening at affordable prices.
Delray Beach's finest restaurants are not all on
Atlantic Blvd
Imagine,
entering a realm of color, energy, movement and comfort, passing from the
street under a Fichus and Palm tree covered awning into a
terra-cotta hued foyer where a brightly tiled bar has several gathered,
enjoying good conversation, libations, lite bountiful fare and the
tropical rhythms of Island Music harmonizing in the background.
The sounds, smells and movement of an exhibition kitchen draw fascination
to the energy emanating from the chef and his assistants behind the
counters. Conversations wafting from patrons relaxing at tables in the
intimate, main dining room and out on the adjacent terrace. An exciting
electrifying intensity permeates the restaurant.
We have proudly completed (September
07) a renovation of our dining rooms, lounge and outside dining patio. New
furniture, new colors, new artwork all in the same fun and relaxing
atmosphere.

At a table on the terrace, four of our guests are discussing the days
business over fresh vibrant salads and iced tea, at another, a
young couple enjoys sharing a thin-crusted pizza and wine, and at the
foyer bar, a pair of boaters picks up lunch to go.
The
staff moves among the tables quietly and efficiently, refilling a beverage
at one, changing an ashtray at another, the guests are not interrupted.
The chef walks by, inquiring of the satisfaction of his culinary
preparations. At another table, the manager is seated, discussing an
upcoming Rehearsal dinner with an obviously excited couple over coffee.
There is a constant flow, of effortless movement, never to the point of
interfering with patron privacy, or feeling as if the tables were located
in the heart of Atlantic Blvd.
Great island art... everywhere you look
Glancing
at the decor, one notices all the island prints- of breezes trickling
through palm trees and of ripples blowing across expanses of azure seas.
Colorful portraits of Caribbean fishing villages, bright clay pots and
copper sauté pans adorn the walls.
The kitchen glistens, clear
reflections of organization, one could eat on either side of the counter.
The Wait-staff is, as always attentive. It seems as if most of the patrons
know each other and that those there for the first time are made to feel
welcome and relaxed.
They come for a great Maine lobster salad salad, or
that terrific grilled sirloin burger, or that tasty thin crusted pizza, or
to check out the specials that the chef has created just for tonight. Or
they come for the ice-cold pitcher of beer and enjoy friendship,
conversation and the comfortable ambiance of the Pineapple Grille. The
front door swings open and more enter, the ringing of the tending gates of
the waterway bridge sounding their arrival. It's another great day at

Our menus features a South-eastern and Caribbean
influenced style with locally caught fresh fish and seafood, prime western
steaks and sirloin steak burgers, chicken fired on a cherry wood
grill, as well as healthy salads and gourmet pizzas and pastas,
priced ala carte between $6 and $24. All items are prepared to order with
our fresh ingredients. All sauces and soups are made from
scratch, using fresh and natural ingredients, and based upon our many award winning
recipes.
